"Who's Better Than You? Nobody"

This year has been nothing but challenges.  The pandemic, job loss, family loss, mental health, the political climate, and the list goes on.  However, in more recent days, I have learned of another event that has become near and dear to my heart.

Everyone who knows me knows I am HUGE Lana Parrilla fan.  Not just because she is an actress but because as a human being, this woman gives back more than most people I personally know.  She never stops looking for ways to give to those closest in and outside her circle.  Recently, Lana launched a clothing line.  She owns, operates (with the help from her amazing staff), and designs all the pieces.  In October, she created two shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness (which I now have and love), and proceeds are going to someone near and dear to Lana.  A few days ago, the fandom found out it is her best friend, Trish.  As a fandom, we bicker like children, but when it comes to rallying around Lana and her loved ones, this fandom can move mountains (I kid you not).

Trish is one of the kindest women you would ever meet.  My best friend says she is sunshine every day.  Trish is an acclaimed screenwriter, playwright, director, and actor.  She wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the film "April's Shower" (which I have) as well as the author of the romance novel, "The Singing Gardner" (which I have as well).  During the last 9 months, she has been vigilant on social media supporting Black Lives Matter, creating across social media platforms "DishWithTrish" (her advice and guidance on a healthy life), recipes, and healthy supplements, and clean eating tips.  She was also instrumental in sharing her methods and beliefs when it came to Sound Baths.  She and Lana would come on Social Media and perform this soothing ritual.  Sometimes they were spontaneous other times, they were planned, but everyone in the fandom is thankful for these two women.  2020 has been a "Shit Show" (thank you, Dana Bash), and with this latest news, it is has been a punch in the gut.

I am asking if you would please go to www.KeepItRegal.net and order a shirt to assist in Trish's fight.  The details and diagnoses are left to her and her family, but to the fandom, we just want to assist any way we can.  I will also be doing a fundraiser on Facebook this month for my birthday to raise money for Breast Cancer.  I am trying to find out if it can specifically go to her if I do it through the cancer society.  So if anyone knows this information, if you would PM me, I would greatly appreciate it.  The campaign will be in November.

I don't usually ask people for donations, money, etc., because these are hard times.  However, this situation has truly touched my heart because of all the time and energy Trish gave to us, unconditionally, no questions asked, just showed up when we needed her the most.  So, now we are showing up for her.

Thank you for reading this, and if you could help me spread the word, I would appreciate it so much.

Everyone stay safe, and as Trish would say, "Who is Better Than You?  NoBody".

Much Love and Gratitude,

Rae
